When are CalNet accounts disabled?

When are CalNet accounts disabled?

CalNet accounts are not formally disabled until the user's affiliation with the campus has been terminated in source systems and the person has exhausted all their Grace Periods. Note: access to bMail is disabled when a CalNet account is disabled.

If you need to disable a CalNet account prior to the termination of grace periods, see instructions, below.

Immediately Disabling a CalNet Account

To disable a CalNet account immediately, please submit the Exceptional Disabling of CalNet ID or Berkeley email (bMail) Service Accounts form to IT Policy at policy-access@berkeley.eduOnce IT Policy has reviewed and approved the request, the user's CalNet account will be disabled.
